Our ANNUAL Lawn Care TREATMENT PLAN

Many of our customers use our customised yearly lawn care plan for their lawn treatments. These plans are designed to give your lawn what it needs - exactly when it needs it! The lawn treatments are strategically timed throughout the year to keep your lawn lush, green and resilient.  

Our free, no-obligation lawn assessment is the first stage of our Annual Lawn Care Plan. We inspect your lawn to understand its condition. We will then work with you and your budget to ensure you get the best care plan for your lawn. Our plans typically include 4 - 5 visits across the year, with a minimum of 8 treatments, to keep lawns in 'tip top' condition. 

With our annual plan you will have access to professional advice all year round. We are competitively priced and many of our customers opt for our convenient and discounted monthly direct debit payment method to ensure continuity and all year round lawn care. 

No two lawn care plans are the same. The reason for this is that every lawn is different (sun / shade, usage, overall condition etc.) and varies in how responsive it is to treatment. At each visit we review the condition of your lawn and can make adjustments. Each lawn programme will be tailored and bespoke to your lawn, factoring in your lifestyle and goals, lawn use, condition and budget.  

Below is an example of a 'typical' yearly lawn treatment plan.

Spring Time

We strongly recommend a scarifying and aeration treatment after the dormant, cold months of Winter so that 'thatch' (dead grass and moss) is removed and to help address soil compaction. As your lawn emerges from Winter dormancy the requirement for nutrients starts to increase. This is the perfect time to apply the first annual fertiliser.  This is a granular, slow release feed applied with a calibrated spreader. The first spot application of weed treatment is applied.  Utilising the moisture in the soil from the Winter we apply a wetting agent to retain that moisture in the root zone to help prepare it for the warmer months ahead. 

Early Summer

During this period your lawn is at its peak growth. As a result, it now requires an additional second fertiliser application. A spot weed treatment is applied to any stubborn weeds that may remain on your lawn. A further wetting agent treatment is applied. 

Autumn

A third fertiliser application is given. We recommend, at this time, that an aeration treatment is carried out to de-compact soil and encourage water movement ready for the Winter months. An iron-based moss treatment is applied to prevent or cure any early moss ingress. At this time of year it is also a good time to apply an insecticide treatment to control leatherjacket infestation. 

Winter 

A fourth fertiliser treatment is applied as well as an extra moss treatment.
